The nominees for the 2008 Webby Awards are out. I like to check out the nominees every year to see if there are any that I'd like to add to my Google Reader.

I haven't finished checking them out, but here are a couple of really good graphics/video sites (which won't go into my Google Reader since they're not blogs and don't have RSS feeds.) First, the Coke Happiness Factory has some cool graphics, although I don't find the associated games especially fun. Looks like it took some creativity.

Then there's the utterly fascinating HBO Voyeur. I just spent a couple of hours watching all of the content. Neat stuff, and a great idea.

Finally, I'm pretty impressed with what IKEA has done with their Calm Bedrooms ads. A little too close to the Fight Club IKEA scene, but still good.

Also, there are some nifty doohickies at Orange Unlimited.
