My pumpkin turned out well this year:

Plan for Halloween:
Watch silly horror flicks like "Mark of the Vampire," "The Abominable Dr. Phibes," "The Haunting"
Keep creepy Halloween music queued up in case there are any Trick-or-Treaters
Hand out candy to kids, if I get any at all
Perhaps teach myself to make Popcorn Balls - need to purchase candy thermometer, though
I think this is the first year where I never had a plan to dress up and do something for Halloween. Maybe I'm actually growing up. Although a Wednesday Halloween is the worst time for planning parties, anyways.
Well, I guess going to see The Nightmare Before Christmas 3-D was something that I did. I even considered dressing in my Sally costume for it, but not very seriously. It was worth seeing. Not as good as the original, though, IMO. The edits and additions they did were smartly done, but I know every second of the original and prefer it. This new 3-D technology can be used to spectacular effect in new 3-D films, as seen from the demonstrations immediately preceding the film.
