I have to whole-heartedly agree with Caulton Tudor's assessment of what Duke football needs. I was fortunate enough to be an undergrad during the Coach Spurrier years, and the excitement of cheering on Duke football during those years long ago died an ugly death. I honestly wish that I could feel anything but utter apathy about Duke football now. I have been reluctant to outright say, "Fire Ted Roof!" because I thought the problem was that we're simply unable to recruit a decent coach due to academics, facilities, etc. But that's no excuse for not even attempting to hire excellence and settling for the current crap.
